PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi, abbreviated Mitratel, is a subsidiary of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero), Tbk having its business in telecommunication infrastructure. Established on October 18th 1995 as PT Dayamitra Malindo, originally as partner of KSO Telkom to carry out telecommunication activities in Kalimantan Area. On August 28th 1997 changed its name into PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi after all shares previously owned by PT Telekom Malaysia was acquired by Cable & Wireless, Plc.
Equipped with experiences in building and managing telecommunication infrastructure in Kalimantan, on 2007 Telkom as the holding company authorize Mitratel to enter into business of managing telecommunication tower on national scale. Inter alia by building and providing microcell services of BTS Hotel and in-building solution (IBS).
