Lo-Ra Connectivity

LoRa (Long Range) is a low-power wide-area network (LPWAN) protocol that used radio frequency to transmit data. Lo-Ra is a common protocol used for the Internet of Things because of its ability to communicate in a long-range area. With a single LoRa Gateway, it can communicate up to 15km in the rural area. Because LoRa is low-powered, the battery could run up until 10 years before it needs to be replaced.
How We Work
LoRa architecture consist of two main system: LoRa Gateway and LoRa Network Server. LoRa Gateway will functionate as an Access Point (AP) and will transmit LoRa signal to device. LoRa Network Server will functionate as a controller, integrating several LoRa Gateway.
LoRa Connectivity is in a deployment phase. Together with Telkom Indonesia, Mitratel has deployed more than 350 gateway across Indonesia in Telkom Tower (STO).
