PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (Mitratel) cooperates with the Republic of Indonesia’s National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) in distributing 3,467 packages of sacrificial meat with a total value of IDR 1.137 billion to people spread across Mitratel’s operational areas (4 areas and 11 regions) throughout Indonesia.
The collaboration ceremony was held at the Telkom Landmark Tower Building, Jalan Gatot Subroto, Jakarta, Tuesday (20/6/2023), attended by Commissioners, Directors and Mitratel employees as well as the Chairman of BAZNAS of the Republic of Indonesia and their staff. At that moment, 3,467 packages of sacrificial meat were symbolically handed over under the name of the Mitratel Sharing program for sacrificial animals in 2023, Signals of Kindness Spread #PotentialEverywhere.
“This moment is full of meaning in expressing our gratitude to God Almighty for all the gifts and blessings that have been given. Through the Mitratel Sharing Qurban meat program this year, it is hoped that religious values can be enlivened through Sacrificial Worship, a form of Mitratel’s social responsibility and Mitratel’s concern in building positive relationships with the community and stakeholders,” said Theodorus Ardi Hartoko or who is familiarly called Teddy Hartoko as the Main Director of Mitratel.
Meanwhile, Chairman of BAZNAS RI Prof Dr KH Noor Achmad, said the cooperation established between BAZNAS and Mitratel was an impetus for the successful implementation of effective and efficient sacrifices.
Prof Noor said, with this assistance, it would be very useful for people in need. It is hoped that this program from Mitratel can inspire other parties to roll out similar programs, so that the reach of assistance can be wider.
“This program is very good, hopefully it can be an example for other parties to take similar steps. BAZNAS invites the public to take advantage of the momentum of Eid al-Adha to do good, to share with others by making sacrifices,” he said.
