
Jakarta, 14 October 2021 – With the theme “BUMN Contribution in Supporting the Achievement of SDG’s Based on ISO 26000”, this inaugural event organized by BUMN Track supported by the Indonesia Shared Value Institute (ISVI) is the highest form of appreciation for BUMN and BUMN Subsidiaries who have implemented TJISL & CSR program which is guided by BUMN Ministerial Regulation PER-05/MBU/04/2021 concerning BUMN Environmental Social Responsibility (TISL).
Referring to the Ministerial Regulation, the 2021 TISL & CSR Award assessment category consists of four SDG pillars, namely Social, Economic, Environmental, Legal and Governance pillars, as well as providing added value (Creating Shared Value) for companies. Apart from that, there are six supporting aspects, namely policy, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, sustainability and complementary documents. Added value in the assessment is given to companies that have measured the level of effectiveness of the TISL program using the Social Return on Investment (SROI) parameters. Taking place at the JW Mariot Hotel Jakarta, the presentation of the TISL & CSR Award took place in a lively and solemn manner, by strictly implementing health protocols during the Covid-19 pandemic. Chairman of the 2021 TISL & CSR Award Jury Thendri Supriatno said, Ministerial Regulation PER05/MBU/04/2021 directs the BUMN TJISL program to support the company’s core business. “The spirit promoted in creating shared value (CSV) has been adopted by the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Regulation PER-05/MBU/04/2021. “Among other things, the implementation of TJISL must be related to and support BUMN’s core business so as to create added value for the company,” explained Thendri, who is also the Founder & Chairman of the Indonesia Shared Value Institute (ISVI) and Founder & Chairman of the Indonesia Corporate Forum For CSR Development (CFCD). According to him, the 2021 TISL & CSR Award is not just an awards event but is a means of joint learning for participants to improve the quality of the TJSL program in supporting sustainable business. “Apart from assessing, we provide recommendations to the participants as a reference for implementing programs that are more measurable, impactful and sustainable,” he said. Meanwhile, Chairman of the People’s Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia (MPR RI) Bambang Soesatyo, who is also Chairman of the 2021 TISL & CSR Award Honorary Assessment Committee, expressed his appreciation to the Ministry of BUMN for positioning BUMN as part of world citizens to achieve sustainable development goals through implementation. In this inaugural year, the TISL & CSR Award 2021 event was attended by 71 state-owned companies and state-owned subsidiaries. A total of 40 companies passed the second stage of the judging selection, which was followed by a presentation process and in-depth material interviews before a virtual panel of judges, which lasted for three weeks. TISL & CSR Award 2021 participants are divided into three categories, namely BUMN Companies, BUMN Subsidiaries and BUMN and BUMN Subsidiaries Tbk. The achievements of each company consist of three ratings, namely five-star, four star and three star ratings. Supported by a jury consisting of professional experts in the field of CSR, practitioners, academics and credible media, the TISL & CSR Award 2021 event has proven weight and integrity. Some of the big-name companies that emerged as winners include PT Bank BRI, PT Bank BTN, PT PLN, PT Wijaya Karya, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia PT Semen Gresik, PT Bukit Asam, PT Kimia Farma, PT Telkomsel and PT Mitratel. Apart from that, dozens of other best companies also received awards at this prestigious event.
